We believe that digital technologies, if used correctly, are a means of reducing distances and guaranteeing greater inclusion, through access to the network independent of gender, ethnicity, age, disability and status. It is essential for us to reduce, to the point of overcoming, the digital divide. This is why we invest in a network that is accessible and convenient, for the benefit of our customers and every community, strengthening equal access and promoting equal opportunities for all. Inclusion also starts with access to adequate skills and, for this reason, we are committed to providing continuous learning opportunities to prepare people for the challenges posed by digitization.

GENDER PARITY

In 2022, WINDTRE became the first telecommunications company in the world to eliminate the gender pay gap, as certified by the EQUAL-SALARY Foundation.
In 2024, the company also obtained UNI/PdR 125:2022 certification for gender equality, which was reaffirmed in 2025

Technology and digital networking are increasingly central tools in the daily lives of people and organisations.

We stand alongside small Italian villages to accompany them in reducing the digital divide thanks to connectivity and smart technologies for the benefit of the segments of the population most excluded from digitalisation.

NeoConnessi Silver

NeoConnessi, the digital and media education project, created to accompany families in the responsible use of technology, has recently been enriched with a new initiative dedicated to grandparents: NeoConnessi Silver. With this project aimed at the over 60s, we contribute to bridging the digital divide and reducing the intergenerational gap, explaining in a simple and accessible way how to use the smartphone safely thanks to 15 video tutorials.

Against Gender Violence

WINDTRE is concretely committed to combating violence in all its forms and promoting a profound cultural change, which can only be achieved with the diffusion of an inclusive, respectful and non-violent culture.

An important step in this direction was the opening of the S.O.S Lei Anti-Violence Centre, born in March 2023, thanks to the partnership with the Fondazione Policlinico Gemelli IRCCS and the ASSOLEI Association. A safe place of closeness and welcome to offer help, listening and support to women who suffer violence and mistreatment. Located in the Emergency Room of the Gemelli Hospital in Rome, the S.O.S. Anti-Violence Center can be reached at h. 24 by contacting the number +39 320 346 4044, also via WhatsApp and SMS.

Furthermore, to promote cultural change and spread knowledge and awareness through concrete awareness-raising activities, WINDTRE created the short film "DI NOTTE " in partnership with the OffiCine-IED Cinema Training Laboratory and the artistic direction of Silvio Soldini.

During 2024 WINDTRE continues its concrete commitment with S.O.S. Leito build an increasingly inclusive, human and non-human future.

At WINDTRE, we are committed to adopting accessible solutions to improve the professional and personal autonomy of all individuals, reducing visible or invisible barriers and eliminating all forms of discrimination.

We work to ensure that WINDTRE’s corporate culture is increasingly open, inclusive, and respectful: a place where all our people can express their uniqueness, skills, and potential.

Disability Manager in the Company

With these objectives in mind, in 2019, WINDTRE introduced the role of Disability Manager, who coordinates the Disability Hub, the company space dedicated to all our people and, in particular, to anyone experiencing a personal or close condition of disability.

The Disability Manager promotes initiatives and projects for the prevention and information on forms of direct and indirect discrimination, maintaining a constant dialogue with internal and external stakeholders on disability-related issues.

It is our new model, conceived and designed specifically for people, where the 'human' component is central. It is a hybrid way of working in which flexibility, the centrality of human relationships, empowerment, attention to people's well-being are the key words.

AN INCLUSIVE COMPANY

Following participation in Milan Pride and in Rome Pride, "We Proudly" was launched, the new intranet space dedicated to the issues of the LGBTQ+ community.

On the topic of inclusive language, an internal path for employees called Human Language was launched.

We have always involved our customers and employees in initiatives to support and be close to the community.

TOGETHER WE CAN

The initiative is aimed at all WINDTRE employees involved in proposing and voting on solidarity initiatives in line with our ESG plan, which are intended to receive a contribution from the company.

COMMUNITY INITIATIVES

For many years, WINDTRE has been offering a solidarity SMS service to non-profit organizations, ONLUS, associations, and foundations, in collaboration with other Italian telephone operators.
