Responsibility & Governance

We are a key gateway to the Internet, and for this reason we feel responsible for protecting people when they are online. NeoConnessi is WINDTRE’s free digital education program, launched in 2018 to support students, teachers, and families in developing a safer, more aware, and more responsible approach to technology. The program is based on an educational model that combines teaching resources, training, family engagement, and impact measurement, with the goal of helping both children and adults recognize the risks and opportunities of the online world.

Specifically:

- Educational kits for primary and lower secondary schools, including dedicated materials for students, teachers, and families.

For primary schools, the program includes the educational and values-based story “Nati Digital” (Born Digital), developed in collaboration with the Italian State Police, along with information materials for parents and a teacher’s guide featuring classroom activities, in-depth content, and practical teaching suggestions.

For lower secondary schools, the kit is enhanced by an interactive teacher’s guide, educational worksheets, digital resources, and educational videos developed in collaboration with the National Council of the Order of Psychologists (CNOP). These resources are designed to encourage classroom discussion on topics such as digital identity, online perfection standards, well-being, self-respect, and the conscious use of technology.

- The lower secondary school pathway also includes access to Digital Camp, an interactive educational platform that enables students to develop digital citizenship skills and earn the Digital Skills Certificate.

- The www.neoconnessi.it website and the new Instagram profile provide a dedicated space for families who wish to explore the topic of safe and responsible digital engagement in a simple, clear, and accessible way.

- NeoConnessi Rules: a set of practical guidelines designed to help families stay connected while maintaining healthy relationships. The rules were developed together with our Scientific Committee, composed of representatives from the Italian State Police, the National Council of the Order of Psychologists, and the Italian Society of Pediatrics.

- The new teacher training course focused on Artificial Intelligence (AI) provides advanced digital training, certified by the Italian Ministry of Education, and equips teachers with practical tools for delivering effective and innovative lessons.

More than 2.5 million families have been reached since the launch of the program.
