We are the first Telco in the world to have obtained the EQUAL-SALARY CERTIFICATION in 2022!

This recognition, which certifies fair pay and the existence of solid Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion policies within WINDTRE, was confirmed in 2024 for the third consecutive year.

In 2024, we added UNI/PdR 125:2022 certification issued by IMQ S.p.A., an Accredia-accredited body, which was confirmed in 2025.

This additional certification demonstrates the implementation of a gender equality management system through the adoption of specific KPIs and concrete interventions in six areas: Culture and strategy, Governance, HR processes, Growth opportunities and inclusion of women in the company, Gender-based pay equity, Parental protection and work-life balance. As part of this project, the WINDTRE Group's Gender Equality Policy was drafted and a steering committee was established within the company. This committee has already met and is working to implement and direct the concrete actions contained in the company's Strategic Plan for Gender Equality.

It's very important to us to work toward achieving sustainability goal #6 of the ESG 2030 plan: ensuring gender equality in access to growth, career development, and compensation opportunities, nurturing and maintaining an open and inclusive culture through the support of Human Resources and collaboration across the company.

At WINDTRE, we firmly pursue gender equality across all company departments, guided by thoughtful HR policies for managing and rewarding our staff, ranging from welfare to training, with dedicated programs such as the "Women Academy." We have long been committed to this, including through significant work as a spokesperson and in collaboration with schools, universities, and various associations.

EQUAL SALARY

This certification was issued by the EQUAL-SALARY Foundation following a voluntary audit*, based on a rigorous methodology developed in collaboration with the University of Geneva. This audit involved PwC in audit activities, including a detailed compensation analysis, manager interviews, focus groups, surveys, and in-depth analyses of related processes and policies.

During our journey to obtain certification, we voluntarily underwent a multi-stage audit process.

PHASE #1

QUANTITATIVE PHASE

The EQUAL-SALARY Foundation, following a thorough anonymous survey of the salaries by level and role of all WINDTRE employees, certifies that there is no pay gap between women and men. For the process to proceed to the next stage, the pay difference for the same age, location, level, and role must be less than or equal to 5%.

PHASE #2

QUALITATIVE PHASE

It aims to assess management's commitment to equal opportunities for women and men, the integration of equitable gender equality strategies into D&I policies and practices, and employee perceptions of WINDTRE's gender equality policies. This phase also includes an on-site visit (conducted by PWC).

PHASE #3

CERTIFICATION

If all quantitative and qualitative requirements are met, the EQUAL-SALARY Foundation issues the Certification, which is valid for three years.

This recognition is a clear demonstration of the company's commitment to ensuring equal pay for women and men.

PHASE #4

MONITORING

Equal-Salary certification is valid for three years.

During this period, the company undergoes two maintenance audits to monitor compliance with the existing policies that led to the certification.

Our UNI/PdR 125:2022 gender equality certification process

To confirm our commitment and continue to ensure equal opportunities at WINDTRE, we have initiated and completed the UNI/PdR 125:2022 gender equality certification process, in addition to the Equal Salary Certification, which already certifies equal pay and the existence of solid Diversity, Equity & Inclusion policies within our company.

The UNI/PdR 125:2022 certification was issued by IMQ S.p.A., an Accredia-accredited certification body, following a voluntary audit process that verified the implementation of a gender equality management system, with the adoption of specific KPIs and concrete interventions in the following areas: Culture and strategy, Governance, HR processes, Growth opportunities and inclusion of women within the company, Equal pay by gender, Parental protection and work-life balance.

As part of this project and as required by law, the WINDTRE Group's Gender Equality Policy was drafted and an internal Steering Committee was established with the task of implementing and directing the concrete actions contained in the company's Strategic Plan for Gender Equality.
