The Oasi project becomes a book!

WINDTRE offers everyone an illustrated book, created in collaboration with WWF to support the protection of nature and biodiversity. You'll find an unpublished story by Federico Moccia, drawings, and answers to big and small questions from the children and grandchildren of WINDTRE people who participated in the Oasi project, created to raise awareness among children about respect for the environment and biodiversity.

Since its inception, WINDTRE has collaborated with WWF Italy on energy and CO2 emissions reduction issues. The Oasi project was launched in 2021 to celebrate the achievement of the emissions reduction targets agreed upon within the partnership. It has contributed to the redevelopment of three WWF oases, identified based on their proximity to the company's main offices: Vanzago, Macchiagrande, and Astroni, near the Rho, Rome, and Pozzuoli offices, respectively. The WWF Oases represent a complex and multifaceted system of protected areas throughout the country. These natural areas reveal how crucial it has become to safeguard biodiversity, especially in recent years, when challenges such as land use and climate change have become increasingly pressing.

Furthermore, WINDTRE has reduced its CO2 emissions by 46% compared to 2017, the year Wind Tre was founded, with the goal of eliminating them by 2030.
