Through the Smart City project, Wind Tre is committed to collaborating with city institutions to respond to the growing demand for urban resilience solutions, enabling innovative services for digital and ecological transition with its technologies, and supporting stakeholders in order to bridge the cultural digital divide.
Wind Tre is implementing the Smart City project through three lines of action:
1) Contact with local public administrations and participation in local innovation hubs;
2) Cooperation agreements and creation of working groups to identify needs and possible solutions;
3) Implementation of educational programs to support public administrations in introducing new technologies and skills such as 5G, data analytics, and IoT Cloud.
As part of the Smart City project, Wind Tre has launched the “Smart City Transformation Academy”, a training program dedicated to public administrations through which it intends to explore topics such as digital communication, energy efficiency, big data analytics, the Internet of Things, energy communities, and much more.
